For my daughter’s mini graduation party, I decided to have it at Ally’s All Day Breakfast Place. I found their DIY pancake so adorable and thought that the kids will have a blast deciding what their pancakes will be and naming it when they order! Since it was only her cousins and family, the size of the place was perfect!
At Ally’s, they had a slip of paper with tick boxes for your order choices, where you will put your name and follow the steps (1)choose your base (pancakes or waffle); (2) choose what flavor you would like (classic, chocolate, cinnamon, chocolate or whole wheat); (3) choose your toppings (cream cheese, ice cream, nutella, bananas, chocolate chips etc.); (4) select your syrup (classic, strawberry, chocolate, caramel etc.); (5) and choose add ons (bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage); (6) this step is the most fun! Name your creation! The pancakes are served with the name of your pancake written on a flag stuck on your pancakes. The kids had a blast ordering their pancakes!
The place is also lovely and crafty. It was so easy to decorate it and make it into a full blown party place! I was able to meet the owner Ally, and I was ecstatic as she is also a craft lover like I am! This place was inspired by her wedding, where they had a pancake buffet for their breakfast reception! Cool! The staff and food at this place is excellent! It is now my favorite go to place for small intimate gatherings/parties! Their food is great and best of all, it is also reasonably priced!
My baby girl had a blast with her cousins and we even had time to make a craft. Each guest was given scrapbook materials and took a photo with the graduate to put in their scrapbook page. They wrote messages and notes of congratulations and decorated their own pages. Even the adults enjoyed this activity. Now we have an album of all the guests and their personalized messages and pictures!
Because the place is already pretty and colorful, it was easy for me to decorate the place. I just had a buffet table with the graduate’s favorite things! (1) her school doll in uniform, (2) an owl, (3) oreo caramel cake, (4) letter M’s that she personally decorated with washi tape and other stuff that represents her.
We had pinwheels as centerpieces and personalized glass jars with colored straws to make the party even more lovely!
In line with the pancake party, I hade pancake mixes in jars as give-aways. It had instruction labels on it for easy cooking and enjoyment!
It was a simple and budget-friendly party! But everything was great and enjoyable for the celebrant because she spent a lovely afternoon with her loved ones!
Try a pancake party and have a blast! Let me know how it goes! 🙂
Sharing with you photos of the event. Enjoy!
