Make it Blissful Tea Party

Last April 6 was a great Sunday afternoon to spend with equally wonderful ladies.  Meeting up at the pretty La Creperie in New Manila was an exciting time for me, as I will be meeting most of these ladies for the first time! Yes, I have read and seen their blogs, I have corresponded with them through face book, but finally seeing them in person and meeting them face to face made me a bit nervous!

I feel really blessed to be part of this talented and like-minded group of women, who boldly share and talk about anything and everything through blogging. Thank you to Martine de Luna of makeitblissful.com who came up with this great collaboration and has set us all on this wonderful adventure! She truly inspires me and continues to mentor me in this new path that I have taken, blogging. I am still learning about this world, and to be a part of this collaboration is really an honor and is an exciting journey for me!

Getting to know everyone was a pleasant experience, getting to put the faces to the blogs that I read and follow was fantastic. Learning how each one came to start on their writing, and the reasons why they started was a treat to listen to. Each one had their own life experience and/or “aha” moment that lead them to start their cyber homes and reach out to the readers. It made me feel that I was on the right track, as I felt the same way that they did.

Aside from meeting the group, Martine also treated us to a photo shoot that was done by Mary Anne Collantes of Shutter Panda Photography. We also had  scrumptious crepes and delightful drinks from La Creperie. We got to know one another over tea and delectable crepes. It was also a treat for the soul to be surrounded by all the pretty and lovely furnitures, fixtures and decors that came from different parts of the world!

All in all, this was a fabulous tea party! I am looking forward to more afternoons with these ladies. Again, thank you Martine for making this happen and making me a part of the makeitblissful.com family.

  • Dear Maricel — thanks for being a Blissmaker! My goal for this collaboration is to really give everyone a platform beyond their blogs, so that they can have more reach, more opportunities to bring their services, their businesses as well, in front of other like-minded women. Businesses like yours are so inspiring, so I am so honored to have you on the team. See you soon! We’re due for a coffee / chikka date!
